Court Orders Feds to Halt Wyoming Coalbed Methane Permit Program
In a stunning victory for Wyoming ranchers, a federal judge ruled that a Clean Water Act permit for coalbed methane operations in Wyoming is illegal. The unlawful permit allows CBM operators to dump millions of gallons of polluted water into the Powder River and its tributaries.......(1/7/2005)
