Powder River supports mandatory labeling of food products, including beef, as a means of both providing consumers with more information and allowing American ranchers and producers an opportunity to market their product as "Born, Raised and Slaughtered in the U.S.A." Powder River opposes efforts to tie COOL to mandatory animal identification programs.
