Learn how to take action and organize around important issues in your community at the Leadership & Action Workshop April 18 – 19 in Rock Springs. Join Powder River Basin Resource Council for a lively, hands-on training that will enhance your ability to participate in your community’s civic life. If you have ever felt like you wanted to work on a local problem but didn’t know where to start, this workshop will help you sharpen your skills to make a difference in your community.

The two-day workshop will cover practical trainings on holding public officials and corporations accountable, planning winning campaigns, dealing with intimidation, and working with the media. Meet some new friends as you learn how to effectively participate in public policy and win your issues.

The two-day workshop will be held at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs. Participants are encouraged to attend the full workshop as the trainings build on each other. Lunch and snacks will be provided both days. Early registration is $25 per person or $30 after March 31. Register by April 10 to guarantee meals. Space is limited; register today to hold your spot.
